"Koydervelsh", which approximately translates to "gibberish", is the result of texts and stories by prof. Ber Kotlerman boiled down to one book. As far as style goes, we are moving into the Grotesque territory, but the foundation of the story is a warm and suggestive portrait of Kotlerman's Yiddishland. Bitter yet sweet tales of Jewish life deep in the farthest corners of eastern Russia. We travel through generations and get to witness the big and the small things in life, most of the time through Kotlerman's artful sarcastic lens as he proves once again that he is one of the sharpest pens in contemporary Yiddish literature!
